Latest news that hits the floor in Malayalam film industry is that the Superhit from past, Crime File is going to have a sequel for it. Crime File was scripted by A K Sajan and directed by K Madhu with the real life case of Sister Abhaya as it's main thread. Suresh Gopi was the hero of the movie, as an investigative officer, who came to find the truth behind the murder.After a span of around 16 years, Abhaya Case is still hogging the headlines with fresh findings from the C B I team, this will have prompted the makers of Crime File to announce a sequel for it. A K Sajan and K Madhu will make the second part while Suresh Gopi will continue as the investigative officer in this film too.
The second film in this series is tentatively titled as Convent. The makers are planning to include the newly found facts in the case diary and also those that they never tried to tell in the first part. The cast and crew of the movie are being finalized.
The so called 'Rebel' of Malayalam film industry as well as the president of MACTA, Vinayan too have announced a movie titled as Pious Tenth Garden, which is heard to be based on Abhaya murder case. Let's wait which movie can make it first as early as possible in order to win the mind of audiences. Any way best wishes for both the projects.
