New Malayalam film Anwar to start soon

Younger Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj is all set to star in his new film with the most stylish film maker in Malayalam, Amal Neerad. This new Malayalam film, which is titled as Anwar will have Prithviraj in a new stylish look. This is for the first time that Prithviraj and Amal Neerad is joining together for a film.

Mamta Mohandas is the heroine of this film and the pair of Prithviraj and Mamta is going to happen for the first time in the industry. This is the new Malayalam film for Mamta, after the last year's hit film, Passenger. Apart from these two, this film also features Prakash Raj, Lal and many others.

Amal who is known as the director who specializes in creating the most stylish appearances and presentations is collaborating with R Unni for scripting the movie as in his debut film Big B with Megastar Mammootty. Amal's second film was Saagar Alias Jacky-Reloaded with Universal star Mohanlal. Shooting for this new film will start at Cochin very soon.

Amal Neerad presents a debutant cameraman Satheesh Kurup and his friend Gopi Sundar will be in charge of music. Produced by Rajesh Zacharias under the banner Red Carpet Films will reach theatres in April 2010.

Prithviraj to remake one of the classics of his father

The younger Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj is planning to remake one of the classics of the early eighties that his father, yesteryear actor Sukumaran has acted in. This film, Vilkanundu Swapnangal written by M T Vasudevan Nair was a great hit and is considered to be a notable film in Sukumaran's career.

This classic film also featured Sudheer, Nellikkode Bhaskaran, Sreevidya and Jalaja in it. The other notable thing is that our Megastar Mammootty too have acted in it in a meaty role. Earlier, when asked Prithviraj has stated that this is the best film that his father had ever acted in and as a result he holds this movie very close to his heart.

Prithviraj had confirmed the news and told that when an oppurtunity gets, he will surely talk this matter with the writer of the original film, M T. He will ask M T to modify the script inorder to suit the taste of present generation. This all started when Lal Jose remade one of the hit films of 80's, Neelathamara with the blessings of M T.

Prithviraj to join with Lal Jose

Younger Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj is now considered to be the most luckiest actor in the industry since he has been offered mighty roles in noted director's films. This year's fixture of this young actor suggests that. It is a happy news that atlast malayalam audiences have started to accept younger heroes like him and the initials made by his last few films proves this fact.

The most important news relating this young actor is that he may join with the talented director Lal Jose for his next untitled project. Both of them have earlier joined together for the films like Classmates and Achanurangatha Veedu. The script of this new untitled movie will be done by Bobby and Sanjay team. Mammootty and Prithviraj joining for Pokkiri Raja

The much awaited film Pokkiri Raja, featuring Megastar Mammootty and younger Superstar Prithviraj in the lead has now been started. Pooja of the film was held last day, which was attented by the Megastar himself. This film will start it's shooting by this month itself and will be the Vishu release of both the stars.

This new film will be directed by debutant Vaishakh Abraham and the script of the film was handled by SIbi K Thomas and Udaya Krishna. The other notable thing with this film is that it will introduce Shirya Saran into Malayalam for the first time as the heroine of Mammootty. This film will be produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner of Mulakupadam release.

This is for the second time that Mammootty and Prithviraj are joining together for a film, since both have acted together in the film One Way Ticket by Bibin Prabhakar. Earlier, the role to be played by Prithviraj was offered to Narain but due to his previously committed projects, he had to back out from this film.

This new film is expected to become a huge hit mainly due to it's interesting star cast. Let's wait and see whether the combination of these hugely talented artists make this film a memorable one..

Prithviraj in Ranjith Shankar's second film

Prithviraj, the younger Superstar of Malayalam film industry has grabed a film to be directed by the young talented director, Ranjith Shankar. Ranjith, who earlier directed the film Passenger with Dileep and Sreenivasan in the lead have shot to fame with that single film itself. Passenger was considered to be one of the path breaking films that got released last year and went on to become a huge hit.

Now Ranjith is all set to start his very second film with Prithviraj in the lead. This film, which is titled as Arjunan Sakshi, will feature Prithviraj as Roy Mathew, a young architect born and bought up outside Kerala, who heads towards his homeland with dreams of starting a new life. But things don't go his way and he had to suffer a lot here.

Later in this film, he comes to meet with Arjunan, who helps him on his way to solve the problems that he suffered. The character of Arjunan will be acted by Sreenivasan. This film will be scripted by the director himself and this film being produced by S Sunderaj under the banner of SRT films will release as the big summer release from the star.

Prithvi's 'No' to our Lalettan

One of the hot & latest news from the Malayalam film industry is that the Upcoming Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj has declined many opportunites to act with none other than the Superstar Mohanlal. This shocking news was revealed by the young actor himself, when was interviewed very recently.

According to Prithviraj, "It has been my dream to act with Lalettan. But just for the sake of that wish, if I make way for a bad movie, then would it not be selfishness on my part. Won't it be cheating the media which has been life bread for so long? That's the sole reason why I did not commit to these movies". He also added that movies which were planned with him and Mohanlal together were either weak in the story side or in certain cases his character was poorly etched.

Prithviraj concluded his statement like this that if he come across a good story and a role which would help to develop the actor in him, then he would certainly do the movie since it has been his long standing aspiration to act with our Superstar Mohanlal. Whatever may be the reason, it sounds really interesting when it was first heard from the young actor himself.

Let's wait and see whether these two actors will join together to perform in a movie.

Puthiya Mugham started with a bang

Upcoming Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj's latest release Puthiya Mugham had fetched a super opening all across the state. The film that got released on friday, July 24th, had earned a clear 100% opening for the first weekend. With this grand opening, Prithviraj clearly states that he is going to become the next Superstar in Mollywood.

As per the initial reports, this new Prithviraj starrer, which is like a mass masala Kollywood style entertainer is carrying a good positive review from the first day viewers which may help the movie to become a hit. This new film Puthiya Mugham, which is now Prithviraj’s best ever solo opening is attracting the youth audiences, with its great music and action scenes.

Prithviraj's Puthiya Mugham for July 16th

Upcoming Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj's latest movie Puthiya Mugham has now been postponed it's releasing date from July 10th to July 16th. Puthiya Mugham, directed by Deepan is a campus caper and has Priyamani and Meera Nandan as Prithvi's heroines. This is Deepan's second film as an independent director, who have earlier debuted with the movie The Leader which was a moderate success at the Box Office.

The major reason behind the shifting of the film is that the producers do not want to clash their film with Superstar Mammootty's big budget entertainer Pattanathil Bhootham, which is all set to release on July 9th. The music of the film by Deepak Dev is rocking the charts and popular on television. Major highlight of the movie is that Prithviraj has sung a song in it, which was the title song penned by Kaithapuram Damodaran Namboothiri.

Prithviraj, whose career is sagging in Mollywood, is trying to make a strong come back into the industry with his new Malayalam flick. Let's hope this film will help the young actor to hold his spot tightly in the Malayalam film industry.

Prithviraj to do a film with Major Ravi

Major Ravi, one of the notable director's in Malayalam film industry is going to change his image by doing a string of variety films. Currently he is busy with his first ever untitled Tamil film with action star Arjun. This film is all about patriotism and will introduce new Malayalam heroine Aswathy Ashok to the Tamil audience.

Major Ravi, who had earlier made films like Keerthichakra and Kurukshetra with Mohanlal and Mission 90 Days with Mammootty is well known for making films that are related with army forces. As a plan of changing his image, he will soon start the work for his new Malayalam film, which will be a horror film, titled as Maadan Kolli.

For a change, this time Major Ravi won't cast either of the Superstar's of Malayalam, but it will be the upcoming Superstar of Malayalam, Prithviraj. This new horror film will be scripted by Sunil Parameswaran (Ananthabhadram fame). Camera of this film will be handled by Thiru and it will be produced by Vysakha Films Rajan.

According to the director, this new untitled Malayalam film will be an edge of the seat spine chilling fantasy thriller. More news about the film as well as the crew members are yet to be revealed.

Prithviraj to do a mass thriller

Young and upcoming Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj will shortly be seen in a movie to be directed by the stylish dierctor Shaji Kailas. This movie which is tentatively titled as Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram, is being scripted by A K Sajan. This new film will be produced by Murali under the banner of Parco Lab.

The major highlight related with this new film is that it will feature Prithviraj for the first time in a triple role. This film will present Prithviraj as a Thiruvananthapuram based psychiatrist Raghupathy, a cop in Kochi called Raghava and Rajaram, an underworld don in Kasargod who are fighting the same enemy.

This new film, which is tauted as a mass thriller with a great twist in the climax will have three glam girls of south as the heroines. This film will feature Negha, a Mumbai based camera woman and a former assistant of Ravi K Chandran for the first time in Mollywood. This film will also feature Sai, a debutant music composer. A Bollywood actor will play the deadly villain in the film.

This new Prithviraj starrer will start it's shooting by the start of July, ie right after Prithviraj completes his ongoing movie with veteran director Joshiy, Robinhood.

Prithvi's Calender from tommorow

Upcoming Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj was last seen in Viji Thampy's much delayed Nammal Thammil. The film was a major disaster at the box office and Prithviraj is all set to make a strong come back through his next film, Calender. This new Prithviraj starrer is now all set to release from tommorow.

This new Malayalam film Calender was directed by actor Mahesh, whose directorial debut is this film. Malayalam beauty Navya Nair is playing the lady lead in this new film. The most notable thing with the film is that it will mark the comeback of yesteryear heroine Zarina Wahab into Malayalam film industry after a long gap of around 27 years.

In this new film, Zarina is Thangam George, a widowed professor whose life revolves around her only daughter Kochu Rani played by Navya Nair.
Prithvi plays the guy who creates the first rift between them. This new film is considered to be a family entertainer and is carrying a good preview about it.

Prithviraj's Nammal Thammil

Future Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj's new movie Nammal Thammil has released last friday in around 60 theatres all across Kerala. This film was directed by veteran Viji Thampy and this film is the director's 25th film. Actually, the film was completed much earlier but was not able to get into the theatres due to some unknown reasons. It was actually after this film that Viji Thampy has done the Prithviraj starrer Krithyam, that got released a few years back.

This film features Prithviraj as Vicky, a brilliant student in an engineering college, who maintains a friendly relationship with everybody except John Rose (Indrajith). Vicky and Anu (Geethu Mohandas) are lovers. Once they quarrell over a silly issue. Later Anu finds Vicky in a doubtful situation which she would have never wanted to see. After that incident she seeks revenge. Some way or the other she tries to defeat him. This forms the core of the story which is set in the backdrop of a campus.

The main highlights of the movie is that the actual brothers Indrajith and Prithviraj are coming together once again after the hit film Classmates and this is the very next campus movie from Prithviraj after the hit films like Classmates and Chocolate. This film will also present for the frst time ever, Suhasini and Revathy together. Gireesh Puthenchery has penned the lyrics and M Jayachandran has scored the music. Sanjeev Shankar has wielded the camera. Under the banner of Evershine Pictures, S T Subramaniam is producing the film.

Prithviraj, the future Superstar of Malayalam film industry is having a busy schedule these days, due to his immense popularity almost in all the South Indian languages. Currently he is at the sets of Asokavanam, a big budget billiungal movie made simultaneousily in Tamil and Hindi by the ace director Mani Ratnam. He is co staring with big names like Vikram, Aiswarya Rai Bachchan etc in that movie.

Eventhough Prithviraj is a busy actor in other languages, he always find some time to do a Malayalam film or more in a year. His last offering in Malayalam was Lollipop, that got released during last year's Christmas season. Though the film was not able to do match up with the expectations of the audience, he as well as his role in the movie was well appreciated by the viewers as well as critics.

Now Prithviraj is back into Malayalam with a movie to be directed by the veteran director Joshiy. This new film is tentatively titled as Robinhood and Bhavana will play the lady lead in it. Bhavana was the heroine of Prithviraj in Lollipop too. Prithviraj, an upcoming star in South India is currently at the sets of Asokavanam, a big budget billiungal movie made simultaneousily in Tamil and Hindi by the ace director Mani Ratnam. The film which is titled as Police Police, will feature Prithviraj as a strict police officer along with Srikant. This is for the first time that Prithviraj is playing the role of a police officer in Tamil, but it's second time in Telugu since his Malayalam film Sathyam have got dubbed into Telugu as Sathya I P S. Other than heroes, this film also features Kamalini Mukherjee and Sanjana in the lead. This billiungal movie has being directed by Manmohan.

The film which is an action-packed entertainer shows how two police officers choose two different paths to achieve their target, which is same. According to the director, both the heroes performed very well and it will be the best part of the movie. He also said that this new film will analyze the good and bad things happening in the police system. Srikar Prasad is the editor. Viswa and Saikarthik have composed the music. PS Varma is the art director. Bharani K Dharan is the cinematographer.

The best news that relates this film is that the distribution rights of the film in Tamil Nadu have been acquired by Sun Pictures. This news will a happiest one for the makers of the film since the films that all acqiured by Sun Pictures in the past were Superhits. The film which is said to be total different from earlier police stories is now planning to make a release in the month of February.

Prithviraj, the younger Superstar in Mollywood, is currently busy with his tight schedule. His latest film in Malayalam, Lollipop was his Christmas offering to the viewers. Lollipop though failed to match up with the expectations of the audience is making not that much bad collections from the theatres all across Kerala. It is already rated average by the viewers, and for that the makers of the film were forced to edit the film, especially the climax scenes.

Prithviraj, was engaged in the sets of Ravana directed by Mani Ratnam until this Christmas. Now he is in the sets of Calendar directed by Mahesh. Shortly he will join the sets of Punyaham Aham directed by Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai's grandson Raj Nair. The location of Punyaham Aham is Ottappalam. At the same time, he will co operate with another movie too which will be directed by Sundar Das, titled as The Reel.

This is the second film between Prithviraj and Sundar Das after the film Katha which sadly never got released in theatres. In this new film, Prithviraj will appear as a film director with the name Renjith. The others in the cast are yet to be finalised. The script of the movie was handled by Reji Nair who earlier scripted movies like Pattalam and Oruvan.

Another important news is that Prithviraj's Hit Malayalam movie Ananda Bhadram is all set to release in a dubbed version in Tamil as Sivapuram. It also featured Kavya Madhavan, Manoj K Jayan, Riya Sen, Kalabhavan Mani and Biju Menon. It was filmed by Santhosh Sivan. The other major projects that are waiting for Prithvi's dates are Puthiya Mukham to be directed by Deepan. His other projects of 2009 include the works of Shaji Kailas, A.K Sajan and K. Madhu.

Lollipop from tommorow

Prithviraj, the future superstar of Malayalam film industry is having a release for this year's Christmas season. The film Lollipop also features Kunchakko Boban, Jayasurya, Bhavana and Roma as the other leading stars in it. This film was directed by hit maker Shafi with the script from Benny P Nayarambalam. The film is produced under the banner of ABS combines by Shafi, Benny P Nayarambalam and Anto Joseph. This is the first film under this banner.

Lollipop is expected to make it big at the theatres with a release on December 19, having 77 prints all across Kerala. It is Pritviraj's biggest ever release, and is expected to take a bumper opening as it is a youth film with peppy music by Alex Paul. With no other major releases for this year's Christmas season, except Dileep's Crazy Gopalan, Prithvi's Lollipop is expecting a big opening.

Prithviraj, hero of the movie is currently at the sets of Mani Ratnam's Ravana at Ootty. He is playing an important role in that movie. Prithviraj, the upcoming star in Malayalam is now busy with his tight schedule of movies in various languages in South India.

Let's hope, just like his Thirakadha and Thalapavu, this Lollipop too gets noticed among the audience.

Lollipop for Dec 19

Lollipop is the new movie that's going to hit the theatre for this Christmas season. This new film was scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam and directed by hit maker Shafi. This new film features almost all youngsters in Malayalam film industry. They are Prithviraj, Kunchakko Boban, Bhavana, Roma and Jayasurya. The shooting for this movie ended with shoot of its final song at Bangkok.

This new film, Lollipop is produced under the banner A B S productions, the banner created by Benny P Nayarambalam, Anto Joseph and director Shafi. This film is their first venture as producers. Mulakupadom release will distribute this movie. Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Salimkumar, Rajan P Dev, Jagathy, P Sreekumar, Keerikkadan Jose, Baburaj, and Lakshmi Priya are others in the cast.

Lollipop is slated for a Dec 19th release. The other releases for this Christmas season are Superstar Mohanlal starrer Red Chillies, and Dileep starrer Crazy Gopalan. These are the only other movies that are confirmed with Lollipop for this season. Interestingly, other Superstar of Malayalam Mammootty willnot have any release for this Christmas.

Let's hope all these movies do well at the box office.

Prithviraj to join the Six pack club

The young and talented actor from Mollywood, Prithviraj too will appear shortly in the silverscreen with a beutiful six pack abs of his own. Prithviraj will not be showing his six pack abs in Mollywood but it will be in Kollywood.

Prithvi joins Bollywood hero's like Shah Rukh, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan and also Tamil hero's like Surya and Vishal to spot a six- pack. He started working on his six-pack while he was shooting for his Malayalam film Lollipop with Bhavana. He is spotting this beutiful six pack abs for the latest ManiRatnam movie.

The film that is yet to be titled in Tamil version has it's name as Ravana in Hindi. Prithviraj who is playing an important role in Mani Ratnam's bilingual has worked out at a gym with a personal trainer for the last three months to get a six-pack abs for the film.

The actor now looks fit as a fiddle and is said to have lost 10 kilos during the last three months .He is very secretive about his new look, and has refused to show off his six pack, as "Mani sir does not like the look to go public."

Mani Ratnam had insisted that Prithvi has a six-pack in the film, where he is supposed to play Aishwarya Rai's husband who really does not love her as he is a self obsessed man. In hindi, the role of Prithviraj will be handled by Vikram, who is the real hero in Tamil version.

Let's wait patiently to watch whether this new look of Prithviraj really suits him.............
