Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi breaking records

The much awaited flick starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has released worldwide on Dec 12th. There have been a much expectation about the film. The main reason behind this sort of expectation was due to the magic that Adithya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan have provided earlier with their previous two films, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Mohabbatein. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was released with a tag having the meaning that in every ordinary life there is an extra ordinary love story.

After a very warm start on friday, the film have gained some momentum during the weekend days with a much much better collections from all over India. According to the distributors this light hearted romantic comedy has crossed boundaries and even set records in the Middle East. The film has also received a grand opening across all overseas markets, including Britain, the US, Australia, Europe, Africa, and other territories in Asia.

With this type of a grand opening, the banner Yash Raj Films can now feel relaxed because since the film Chak De India got released, none of their movies have made it big at box office. The Ranbir starrer Bachna Ae Haseeno was able to do some average business at the box office, remaining all were dumped.

This film has now broken all earlier opening weekend collection records for Yash Raj Films grossing approximately Rs.600 million worldwide on its opening weekend. By the way, it have surpassed the collection record of none other than Dhoom 2, which was considered as one of the greatest hit of all time in Indian film industry. With Dostana completing it's long one month run at the box office and Ghajani only after a period of two weeks from here, it's now all clear for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi to do some descent business.

Once again it's the jodi of Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan, which is making wonders at the box office. The film is now expected to become a huge blockbuster in the history of hindi film industry.
