Aamir to do a full length comedy entertainer

Mr Perfectionist himself Aamir Khan is a name to be noted in Bollywood. He is considered to be one of the most talented artists Bollywood have ever produced and now he is the most demanded actor in Bollywood with his last two releases, Taare Zameen Par and Ghajani doing excellent business at the box office.

Aamir is currently at the sets of his new film 3 Idiots, which is considered to be a family entertainer. This new Aamir film is shaping under the hit team of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. Also Aamir is busy with his production house, which is going to produce 3 different subjects at the same time.

The major news that i am going to spell here is that Aamir is going to produce and act in an out and out comedy to be written and directed by Neeraj Vora. A fully funny film by Aamir is going to happen after a very long time since his recent films were of serious, romantic and message driven films. Aamir fans will get delighted when they hear this news.

Neeraj Vora is considered to be one of Aamir's close friend and recently he visited Aamir with this script and after seeing the script Aamir got impressed and told him that he is also ready to produce the film. The director was then in a cloud nine after hearing this from none other than Mr Perfectionist.

Neeraj Vora have previously directed two films, Akshay Kumar starrer Khiladi 420 and Phir Hera Pheri. He is also well known as a script writer with some major hit films like Hera Pheri and Rangeela. He have also acted with Aamir in the film Mann, as Aamir's close friend.

Currently the director is under the working stages of two of his latest films and he will start this Aamir project by the start of the next year only.

Aamir's 3 Idiots for this year's Christmas

Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is going to have a straight third release for this year's Christmas day also. After the stupendous success of Ghajini and Taare Zameen Par which released on the Christmas weekend, Aamir Khan will present his new film 3 Idiots, on 25th December 2009. The film will feature Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani along with Aamir in the lead.

The much anticipated film of 2009, 3 Idiots is already in the news due to the unbeatable combination of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani. The script of the film was written by Abhijat Joshi, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. The film is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banner Vinod Chopra Films. Music department will be handled by the lyricist Swanand Kirkire and composer Shantanu Moitra.

Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots, has already started it's shooting. The film is now currently conducting it's shoot of second schedule, that comprises of 33 days at IIM, Bangalore. The first schedule of the film was completed in and around Ladakh and Simla by September 2008. The cast and crew will be back in February to complete its last schedule in Mumbai. After the Bangalore schedule the film will be 80% complete.

Let's hope, like Aamir's last two releases, this year's Christmas release too may help him to do some wonders at the box office.

Ghajani breaking records

Bollywood's much awaited film of 2008, Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan starrer Ghajani have released worldwide to a bumber opening. The film which featured South indian beuty Asin as the heroine was directed by A R Murugadoss. The expectation on the film was very high thanks to the huge publicity campaign conducted by the distributors of the film and at last the film have raised upto the expectations of the audience.

As per initial collection reports, Ghajani have collected a huge whooping sum of around 90 crores (from theatres only) from it's worldwide release among which 63 crores (net collection from India alone is around 90 crores) is from the domestic market itself. This have created a new collection record in India, with the most collected film in it's first week overtaking previous bests like Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is Kinng (44 crores), Shah Rukh starrer Om Shanti Om (40 crores) and Hrithik starrer Dhoom 2 (35 crores).

The film is continuing it's awesome run worldwide, breaking more and more records. This film is expected to be the first film in India to collect 100 crores from domestic market itself, previous best is SRK's Om Shanti Om with 85 crores. Meanwhile, the film have become the biggest domestic hit ever beating SRK' s Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in the short run of just two weeks. Also it's the first film from India to collect 200 crore mark worldwide.

At the end of second week, Ghajani is still standing tall with thunderous collections from everywhere it get released. New collection reports of the film after a splendid run of two weeks is out stating that The film has grossed Rs 162 crores (overall collection) in domestic markets and Rs 39 crores have come from overseas markets. The film which released in India with a record number of prints (1200 prints) is now all set to break the record of most collected Indian film in overseas where the current record stands with Karan Johar's SRK starrer Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham (44 crores).

First of all, let's congratulate the crew who worked behind this film Ghajani for the massive success that it now achieved and let's wish all the best for the film in order to become the most successful film in the Indian film history.

'Ghajani' got an opponent

Percept Picture Company is releasing their new animated movie Jumbo on the day of Christmas, that is 25th of December. It is on the same day that the Aamir Khan starrer Ghajani too is getting released. Aamir's Ghajani is a big commercial film where as Jumbo is a film under children's content category.

Jumbo is an animated film having an elephant as it's main protagonist who set out himself in search of his parents. Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Dimple Kapadia, Rajpal Yadav, Gulshan Grover and Asrani are some of the voices behind the animated characters. Also cricketer Yuvraj Singh too is going to lend his voice to this film for it's Punjabi version. Akshay was very impressed with the film Jumbo and he even said that this film is dedicated by him to his six year old son Aarav.

The makers of this film Jumbo are not scared about the film that they have to compete with and with the disasters that the recently released animated films like Hanuman, Bal Ganesha and Roadside Romeo have to suffer with. According to them, this film is a pure Bollywood potboiler and is entirely around relationships and emotions. They even said that Jumbo is not just an animation film, which deserves to be only in the children film category but it want it to be in the general film category, viewed by people of all ages.

Let's wait until Dec 25th to know whether this small aniamted movie can overcome the pressure created by such a big movie like Aamir Khan starrer Ghajani.

SRK keen to work with 'Ghajani' man.

One man can be changed from his current position to another within a few period of time. A major examble for this case is none other than Murugadoss, the director of Ghajani. He was no one in the industry just before he made the Tamil Ghajani, but after that he became immensely popular not only in Tamil film industry but also in other parts of the world.

It all started as he picked out Christopher Nolan's 'Mementoes' from stores and it just took 120mins transcending his life in tinsel town. It was this book that inspired him to do the movie Ghajani in Tamil. In order to make himself popular in the industry he just adapted the unique and never-seen-before theme of 'Short Term Memory Loss' in his first film.

After his first movie, he was appreciated by the viewers in all parts of the world. One among them was none other than our Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan himself. He immediately expressed his desire to do that movie in Hindi by himself. This new Ghajani in Hindi will soon get into the theatres with Aamir and Asin playing the lead roles on for Surya and Asin from Tamil.

The major news that strike today is not this. It is heard that Murugadoss was approached by Red Chillies, the banner owned by Baadshah (SRK) himself, to do a movie for them. Things would be finalized by first week of January, but before that Asin, the heroine of both Ghajani have expressed her wish to act in that movie.

Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, who is a close friend of Shah Rukh Khan have recommented Shah Rukh about this new director in the hindi film industry. Actually, after the release of Hindi Ghajani, Murugadoss was planning to go on for a Surya starrer in Tamil but now with SRK's banner being approached, it is heard that the director have changed his mind of doing that project in hindi with SRK in the lead.

Let's wait and see whether we can see the combination of SRK and Murugadoss in the silver screen. If yes, i wish all the best for them to that project.

Bollywood to witness a grand clash

The month of December is going to be a memorable one in the history of Hindi cinema, since two much awaited films from two well established actors are set to rock the theatres in that month. Those films are SRK starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, slated for a release on Dec 12 and Aamir starrer Ghajani, slated for a release on Dec 25. Though both of these films are exactly not releasing on the same day, the small gap of just two weeks will witness a clash between these two films in order to make more profit than the other.

In Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Shah Rukh plays a common man named as Surinder Sahni, who looks very simple in his get ups, but later changes his looks in order to win his wifes love, who is very much younger than him. First, SRK was seen in stuffy woollen vests which he later changes into funky jackets and snazzy jeans. In the other hand, Aamir also plays two diametrically-opposite looks for his upcoming release Ghajani initially he is the long-tressed romantic and then for the avenging avtaar he goes mean and bald and all full of tattooes.

What effect Shahrukh's make-over in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Aamir's in Ghajani has on the box-office remains to be seen on December 12 as well as December 25 when the films gets released. So let's wait for the releasing dates of these much awaited films to know which one will go on to win the hearts of audience.

Can we see them together??????

There is a powerful trio in Bollywood for last 16 years. It is none other than the famous Khan trio. They are Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as Baadshah of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, popularly known as Mr. Perfectionist in Bollywood, and atlast Salman Khan, who is the Muscle Khan of Bollywood. They have been ruling the Bollywood by themselves, for last one and a half decade without any severe competition. Though they have been considered as the powerful Khan trio, they have not acted together upto this day.

Among them, Salman and Shah Rukh have acted together for more times, for about 4 films. The first film that featured these two Khans was Karan Arjun, a movie from Rakesh Roshan. The movie went on to become a huge hit and the performance of both Khans in the movie as brothers, was appreciated well by the audience. Later, they were seen together in films like Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and in the last release of Shah Rukh, Om Shanti Om, but all these films were actually SRK starrer, were Salman was only guests for most of it.

The team of Salman and Aamir was seen only in one movie, which was Andaaz Apne Apne, that was released back in 1994. This film too was a smashing hit of that year. There after, both have not shared the screen until today. There have been talks in the tinsel town that both are interested in making a continuation to their previous one film. But not any continuation of that news was heard again.

The major upset of Bollywood audience will be that they were not yet able to watch a movie that features Shah Rukh and Aamir together. Shah Rukh have acted with almost all his co-stars in the industry except Aamir. Shah Rukh have openly admitted his wish to work once with Aamir in the lead role for a movie.

Because of the larger than life image, star status acting and entertaining styles distinctively different from each other, no film director has till now thought of at least trying to rope in the Khan trios to share the same screen space. With the much heard enemity between each of these 3 Khans, the wish of a Bollywood film viewer to watch them together in a movie will remain as a fantasy just like a child's wish to go to the moon.

Imran's new flick

Imran Khan entered into world of Bollywood as the nephew of Aamir Khan, but he made it big with his first flick Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Though his second venture titled as Kidnap didn't got well recieved at the box office, he is still a hot property at the tinsel town.

Imran is now sporting a new look. Long, dishevelled hair, a stubble, and he's even lost weight. All for Uncle Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly. "I am on a strict diet, having one meal a day. That's the demand of the character. He has to look lean. Aamir Uncle has asked me to follow a regime, you know how particular he is about everything," Imran reveals.

The moment Imran completes Delhi Belly, he has to regain the lost weight and muscles for Luck, which is heading towards completion. Besides Delhi Belly and Luck (signed before Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na), Imran hasn't signed any new film yet.

In Bollywood, Imran is following the path of none other than Aamir, his uncle, in the case of selecting good films. According to Imran, he need to unwind before he accept new assignments. So let's wish all the best for his future projects.

Asin upset with Aamir's nature

Asin is upset with Aamir Khan, that she has been so far left out of the Ghajani promo campaign. Aamir has not unveiled her to the media as his next heroine. The buzz is that Asin is peeved about Aamir's strict terms and conditions. She has been forced to follow Aamir's strict rules for almost two years now. Aamir has stopped her from interacting with the media, making public appearances or attending any events.

To make matters worse, the Ghajini team has also told Asin that she should not give her portfolio pictures to anyone. Asin’s refusal to interact with the most powerful entertainment media in the country has created a negative image for her in Mumbai. Please note stars like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra the ruling troika of Bollywood have made it big only due to the power of the media. Bollywood is the most competitive industry in India and for a newcomer to make a splash, constant media exposure is required.

It seems Aamir has also advised her not to do any more Tamil movies, if she wants to make it big in Bollywood. This clearly means that she will not do Vettaikaran, Vijay’s 49th film which she was keen to do as the producers had offered her a whopping Rs 2 crore.

Aamir is firm that she can give interviews only one week after the release. Aamir was also livid with her for posing on the cover of Vogue magazine. Asin, is very particular not to rub Aamir the wrong way till the film releases on December 25.

So, Just wait until Dec 25th to know what happens next....

Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, is gonna offer an unforgettable birthday treat for his fans.....

On the occasion, Shah Rukh Khan's birthday, Yash Raj Films elatedly will unveil the first 60 second promo of the film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' titled 'HauleHaule' featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. This is the ever first time, the production house releases a song promo before the music release, as it's truly a special occasion.

This special promo, perhaps, first look of the film, written and directed by Aditya Chopra, will be released on 2ndNovember (Sunday morning). So, it's gonna be the Big Day for King Khan Fans and celebrate the grand fiesta memorably. 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' will have its audio launch on November 6 while the film is slated to hit screens on December 12.

At December 12th, it's gonna be the clash of two titans in Bollywood, since king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi ' and Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan's 'Ghajani' are slated for a release on that particular date. The rivalry between these two powerful stars doesn't end here, since they are into showcasing their muscle power. Shahrukh hit the headlines for exposing his six-pack-abs in 'Om Shanti Om'. As if to outdo him, Aamir has dropped his shirt in the promos of 'Ghajani' to showcase his six-pack-abs.

Aamir's new daring look in 'Ghajani'...........

Aamir Khan is considered as India's one of the most talented actor. He is such an actor who likes to go to whatever extent to make his character as well as his film good. He is such a man who wants to make his film's memorable in any of it's department, that's why he is called as Mr.Perfectionist. Due to this, he will act only in a single film per year.

Aamir's latest offering for this year (2008) is 'Ghajani', which is actually a remake from a Tamil film whose title too was 'Ghajani'. The original film featured Surya in the role of Aamir whereas Asin is the heroine in both the films. Hindi 'Ghajani' will be directed by Murugadoss, who was the director of the Tamil film too. Hindi 'Ghajani' will be produced by Madhu Varma.

In this new film, Aamir appears in the famous Six pack abs, which makes this movie much more popular. This new killer-look in 'Ghajani' made Aamir to land in a deep trouble. Accidentally, the tattoo on his biceps happened to be the phone number of a working woman.

Dr. Surekha Verma, a resident of Kanjurmarg, was taken by surprise when she started receiving lots of calls asking for Aamir Khan. However, she got irritated when calls kept coming and finally forced her to witch off her mobile. Later she realised that her number was written on Aamir's biceps.

The entire team of this new film apologised to the lady and offer her a new phone connection. Dr. Surekha Verma is happy with the offer. She said that everything would be fine if she is provided with a new number.

In a recent press meet Aamir said that he understood the problem the lady might have gone through, as he received over 900 SMSes regarding his Ghajini look. There is a huge amount of expectation and talk going around this film and the look of Aamir in this film. Aamir's fans as well as the audience are eagerly awaiting the release of the movie. The movie is expected to reach the movie halls by this December.

3 Superstars from Bollywood in a single movie.....

We all know that Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan are some among the extremely talented Super stars of Bollywood. Can you imagine a movie which will feature all these stars in it? Yes, a new movie that is yet to start it's shooting will feature all of them in pivital roles.

This new movie will feature the latest sensation of Bollywood, Farhan Akhtar in it's lead role. It's the second offering from Farhan after the stupendous hit 'Rock On'. This forthcoming flick is titled as 'Luck By Chance'. This new movie is the debut vehicle as a director for Farhan's sister Zoya Akhtar.

The film will be equally and more interesting for the entire film industry personalities as it has the happenings of the film industry as the backdrop. Hrithik Roshan has an ample role in the movie playing a superstar. Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan will be also seen in the movie in cameos. 'Ghajani' to be delayed...........

One such Lollapaloozas of perfectionism: Obviously, it's Aamir Khan who doesn't get convinced at an ease. Glimpse through his previous flicks; longer schedules of filming to get them perfectly spelled and Taare Zameen Par would be a precise illustration. Amole Gupta conceptualized the scintillating theme for the film and was assigned to direct. Catching view of canned shots for the first schedule, Aamir called off for Amole and started wielding megaphone by himself. Well, his plans didn't dash down hopes and perhaps has won him laurels across far-flung corners of the globe.

Well, after a special screening of Ghajini, Aamir had glimpsed certain aspects were to be corrected and insisted Director A.R. Murugadoss to reshoot them. Earlier, plans were to release the film for the occasion of Diwali while this rigid decision of Aamir may result in delayed release of Tamil remake with the same title. Murugadoss has planned to reshoot few scenes with accordance to Aamir's tastes. Nevertheless, it may take some time, since Aamir Khan is busy now shooting for 3 idiots with Kareena Kapoor. Buzzes are that it would take a month time for Aamir to get back for re-shooting.

Aamir adds one more feather to his cap with his debut directorial 'Taare Zameen Par' moving into Oscars. Released on December 21, 2007, the film won accolades across the far-flung corners of the globe for its universal theme. With Amole Gupta penning the script, Aamir Khan spelled his trenchant piece of work as a director as well performer.

For the finest appraisal, Aamir introduced a great actor Darsheel Safary, who carried entire film on his shoulders. Well, the other star-casts Tisca Chopra, Vipin Sharma and Sachet Engineer delivered their splendid performance. The film has won enormous awards this year for various categories of Best film, Best Direction, Best story, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and more.

9 Indian movies were contending for the Oscar nomination of 6 Bollywood movies, 2 Marathi Movies and one from Telugu. A Wednesday, Jodha Akbar, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Rock On and Black & White; Marathi films Tingya and Valu along with Telugu movie Gamyam made up for contests.

Suneel Darshan, Chair person, Film Federation of India along with the committee members found difficult to choose the best one. However, Taare Zameen Par for its universal theme for everyone's choice.

Aamir Khan was bit disappointed during last time in Oscars for his Lagaan didn't make up for triumph in the category of Best Foreign Film.
