'Nandanam' now in Tamil..........

Dhanush is making a lengthy special appearance in Malayalam's leading writer-director Ranjit's debut film in Tamil.

Ranjit, who has written a handful of memorable scripts in Malayalam, has directed blockbusters like Nandanam, Ravanaprabhu among others. Recently, the director was in the news for making Thirakkatha, a romantic story on the life and times of former actress Srividya.

Ranjit's first film in Tamil is a remake of his memorable film musical love story 'Nandanam which was the debut film of Pritviraj and Navya Nair in Malayalam. This film will be produced by 'Shogun' Mohan and will have Pritviraj and Priyamani doing the lead roles.

However the surprise packet in the film is said to be Dhanush who will do the cute role of God who plays cupid in bringing the lovers together. The screenplay will be written by writer and director Viji and the film will start rolling in January 2009, after Pritviraj and Priyamani complete the shoot of Mani Ratnam's Ravana and Dhanush completes his present assignments.
