Illaya thalapathy Vijay is a popular actor in Tamil film industry. He is considered to be the next Superstar of Kollywood, after the current Superstar Rajni Kant. The other notable thing with the Vijay is that he had a great fan base in the neighbouring state Kerala too. Most of his films have done extra ordinary business in Kerala box office also.
His latest film, Vettaikkaran also did descent business in Kerala and last day Vijay was in the capital city of Kerala to promote his film, that celebrated it's 25th day their in a theatre. When asked, Vijay made it clear that he will definitely act in a Malayalam movie, and the only condition is that he needs to be in agreement with the story and the director. He also added that remuneration will not be problem for his debut venture in Mollywood.
The other notable thing that Vijay stated is about the remaking of the upcoming Malayalam film, Bodyguard, which is all set to grace the theatres by the 21st of this month. Bodyguard is directed by hit maker Siddique and it features Dileep and Nayan Thara in the lead. It's hearing that Vijay loved Bodyguard, a romantic comedy with some family sentiments and action, and wants to remake it as his 51st film after he completes Sura.
Anyhow, Vijay is eagerly awaiting the release of bodyguard and it's performance in the Kerala box office, before formally announcing its remake as his next project..
