The much awaited film Pokkiri Raja, featuring Megastar Mammootty and younger Superstar Prithviraj in the lead has now been started. This film will be produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner of Mulakupadam release. This film will be the Vishu release of both the stars.
This new film will be directed by debutant Vaishakh Abraham and the script of the film was handled by SIbi K Thomas and Udaya Krishna. The other notable thing with this film is that it will introduce Shirya Saran into Malayalam for the first time as the heroine of Prithviraj. Mammootty's heroine for this film is said to be Tamil actress Sneha.
