Dhanush is the upcoming young actor in Tamil film industry. He had grown a lot and is now all set to become one among the top league actors. His latest film to reach the theates for this year's Ponkal season was Kutty, which had Shriya Saran as the female lead. As per the initial reports, this new Dhanush starrer is all set to emerge as the Ponkal hit of 2010.
This is the fourth straight success for the actor, which started from Polladavan, Yaaredi Nee Mohini, Padikkathavan and now Kutty. This new film is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Arya, which was a huge success in Malayalam too. The main reason behind the success of this film is the feel-good factor that may work with the family audiences.
According to distributors what has worked for the film is its low budget and reasonable price it has been sold to the distributors. This is the second film for the dierctor Jawahar, after the much accomplished Yaaredi Nee Mohini. The major highlight of the film is the brilliant camera work and music and background score of Devi Sri Prasad.
All in all, this new Dhanush starrer, Kutty can be considered as a clean, honest, romantic musical film, that’s a worth watch to the family audiences.
