Jayaram about his roles in Kollywood......

Veteran actor Jayaram seems to be the toast of Tamil Cinema after being part of the successful ventures 'Dhaam Dhoom' and 'Saroja'.

On opting to play a baddie in 'Dhaam Dhoom', he said, “I was not keen to do a negative role. In my career which has spanned over 25 years, I was approached for the first time to play a villain. It lured me and hence I agreed. But then the role was a portrayal in a dignified manner”.

Shooting for ‘Saroja’ was a terrific experience. Everyone was friendly on the sets and the youngsters involved in the project had the fire in them to succeed. Shooting for the movie was indeed a great joy'.

On his forthcoming film 'Aegan' in which he is cast alongside Ajith, Jayaram, said, “I play a comical role in the film. I appear all through the movie. I am sure it will bring the roof down in theaters with laughter”.

Complimenting Ajith, he says, “He is a man of dedication. He speaks less but lets his films do the talking. He is one of the focused artistes in the industry”.
