Our Ilayathalapathy Vijay wanted to cast Ileana as his heroine for a long time.
Finally, it looks like it is happening. She is almost certain to be his heroine in AVM Balasubramaniam's new film Vettaikaranto be directed by debutant Babu Sivan, a former assistant of Dharani.
Ileana has done just one film in TamiKD which bombed, however she has a couple of hits in Telugu like Pokkiri with Mahesh Babu.
She is said to be a lucky star, and her demand it seems is that she should be paid her market rate in Telugu which is said to be around Rs 1.25 crore!
So is Ileana now on par with Nayan, as far as her salary is concerned?
