Grant Fiesta for this Summer in Mollywood
The summer season is considered to be a much big one for the Malayalam film industry. Most of the films that got released during this season in the past have made it big at the box office. The summer season of 2009 too is going to be a really bigger one, with films from almost all the big stars in the Mollywood are getting ready to enthrill the viewers.The list of the films for this season will be kick started by none other than Superstar Mohanlal's much awaited stylish flick, Saagar Alias Jackie - Reloaded, which was directed as well as cinematographed by Amal Neerad. This film is slated for a release on March 26th. This film will be followed by actor Lal's directorial debut film, 2 Harihar Nagar a sequel for the hit film In Harihar Nagar. This film is slated for a release on 2nd of April.
On the day of Easter, ie 12th of April, two big films will reach the theatres. First among it will be the much delayed film from Superstar Mammootty which will also have Tamil action star Arjun in it. The film which is titled as Vande Matharam will also release in Tamil as Aruvadai. The other film to grace the theatres on the same day is from Suresh Gopi. The film which is titled as IG will feature Suresh Gopi back in the police uniforms.
On the day of Vishu, ie 14th of April, Dileep will have a release in the form of the film Moses D Samuel, which was directed by veteran director Fazil. This high profile films will be followed by a low budget film Black and White Kudumbam, featuring Kalabhavan Mani and Jayasurya in the lead. On May 1st, Jayaram will have his first release of the year in association with Sathyan Anthicad and Mammootty will have Pattanathil Bhootham, under the direction of Johny Antony.
The list of the films for this year's big summer release will end with the film Passenger, featuring Sreenivasan and Dileep in the lead. This new film is slated for a release on May 7th. It is to be clearly watched whether how many of this films are able to end up their run as profit makers.

Surya to act once again in Bala's movie??
Director Bala is considered to be one of the living legends in the Tamil film industry. Bala, who is only about 10 years old at the box office have enthrilled the whole film fraternity with his all films. Upto the latest film, Naan Kadavul Bala's all the films were critically as well as commercially big successes. His new film Naan Kadavul that features Arya and Pooja in the lead is also doing tremendous business at the box office.Latest news that comes out states that Bala is now all set to start his new film within a short period of time. He is planning to finish the whole movie within a period of about 6 months. Bala was usually known for his delay in making back to back films. But now he is all set to break that image and also to break the image of a serious director. The news about Bala's new project has now been confirmed by the class director himself.
The most notable thing in that news is that young Tamil actor Surya will be playing the lead role in that movie. It's for the third time that Surya is going to act in a movie which is to be directed by Bala. The team of Surya and Bala have rocked with their previous films Nandha and Pithamagan. This news stating the presence of actor Surya once again in a Bala movie is not yet confirmed. This news movie is also said to be produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth of Ocher Studios.
Everyone not only in the Tamil film industry but also in the whole South Indian film industry will be eagerly waiting for the confirmation news about Surya's presence in the movie from the makers itself.
