Pazhassi Raja gets delayed again

Superstar Mammootty's much awaited high profile film Pazhassi Raja was atlast fixed to reach the theatres by April 10 2009, but now, it is hearing that the film may not reach the theatres by that date and will only be a Onam release for Mammootty. It is said that the film will have to undergo some notable special effects and graphics, and that's why the film will get delayed.

The much accomplished team of Mammootty, Hariharan and M T Vasudevan Nair is coming back together after a gap of about a decade. Oru Vadakkan Veera Gatha is a National award won movie, created by this hit group which was critically as well as commercially a big hit.

Mammootty is potraying the role of Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja in this high profile historical movie which also features Sarathkumar, Suman, and Kanika in the key roles. The movie was completed in more than ten schedules in ten locations taking around 140 days of shooting. It is hearing that this new movie is made on around ten crores, which makes it the biggest budgeted film of Mollywood.

Gokulam Gopalan, an accomplished businessman has produced this historical movie under the banner of Gokulam Films. The producer of the movie is planning to go for a wide release to cash in the heavy investment made on this historical.
