The real life father and son, much popular scenarist, director and actor Sreenivasan, and his that much popular son Vineeth a well known singer, are ready to share the screen for the first time in their career. The film that is to be directed by the family filmmaker V.M.Vinu, will have both of them playing the role of a father and son in it.
Vineeth, though have sung a few songs for his father in his recent flicks, have not yet acted with him. There have been lots of projects, to cast to these real life father and son as the same charcters in reel life too. But Sreenivasan doesn't get satisfied with the scripts, atlast he got impressed with the script presented by the director V.M.Vinu, and he gave the permission to go on with the script.
Sreenivasan is currently in a high status, after his 'Arabikadha' and 'Katha Parayumbol' becoming super hits, though his last flick, 'Pachamarathanalil' didn't worked at the box-office. His son Vineeth, too is in a high profile, with his maiden acting venture 'Cycle' going on to become a super hit.
V.M.Vinu, a well known family filmmaker, who has directed hit films like 'Balettan' with Mohanlal and 'Vesham' with Mammootty, is currently working on this project. This film will be produced by Seven Arts International. The other details about the cast, crew and the title of the movie are yet to be announced.
Having the highly talented father and son in his pocket, the audience will expect much more from the director V.M.Vinu, so he have to work very hard to meet the expectations of the viewers. I wish all the best for the director.
