Prince of Telugu film industry, Mahesh Babu is back after a long gap of about two years, since his last film was Athidi in 2007. Mahesh Babu's next movie will be with hit director Trivikram. The film is currently titled as Varudu, but it is heard that the title might be changed in the future. Producer Singanamala Ramesh is making the movie on Kanaka Ratna Movies banner.Mahesh Babu, who doesnot have even a single release in 2008 is now eagerly waiting for this project to start, so that he can hold on to the top spot among the Telugu stars. The film Varudu was actually meant to start it's shooting several months back, but it didn’t start as planned. Now the film will start from this month onwards, ie by 21st of January 2009.
The film will be a mega budget entertainer, and will present Mahesh Babu as a taxi driver in it. The cast also features Prakash Raj and Suneel in it. According to the current fixture, the film will be canned in the deserts of Rajastan for a period of 60 days. The crew will camp in the location at Hyderabad till the end of January and will move on to Rajasthan from the 1st week of February.
One of the major highlight of the movie will be the colorful songs which will be choreographed by Saroj Khan and Vaibhav Marchant from Bollywood and the theme song will be choreographed by actor Raju Sundaram. Music of the film will be handled by Mani Sharma.
