Most happening hero of Tamil film industry, Surya will start his prestigious 25th film with the mass masala director Hari. The film which is titled as Singam will start only after Surya completes his film in progress, Aadhavan with K S Ravikumar. Surya is currently enjoying the huge success of his latest film Ayan, which is now stated as the biggest hit ever in his career, surpassing the film Ghajani.The major highlight of this new film will be that Surya is going to act the role of a tough police officer for the second time in his career, after the blockbuster Kaakha Kaakha. This film will be the third one for Surya with Hari, their previous films were the Superhits Vel and Aaru. The other notable thing is that Hari too is making a police story for the second time after that blockbuster Saamy with Vikram.
This new film, Singam will be an action packed Cop movie with the right mix of sentiments and comedy like all Hari films. Anushka, the most happening actress in the south has been roped in to play the lady lead in it. Also Devi Sri Prasad, another hot property in south will handle the music department of the film. It's also hearing that Prakash Raj and Vivek will have two of the vital roles in the movie.
This new Surya starrer will be produced by Gjanavel of Studio Green who has made Sillunnu Oru kathal with Surya himself and highly acclaimed Paruthiveeran earlier.
