Sreenivasan criticised Superstars

Sreenivasan, an accomplished actor in Malayalam film industry will now be a happy man due to the good reviews carrying by his latest release Makante Achan. It is quite clear that his film Makante Achan is the winner of January, surpassing the films of biggies like Mammootty's Love in Singapore and Dileep's Colors. The film which is considered as a clear family entertainer also featured Vineeth Sreenivasan and Suhasini in the lead roles.

Sreenivasan is considered to be a good film maker in all manners. During a recent press meet, Sreenivasan lashes out on Superstars of Malayalam film industry for acting in all the substandard films offered to them. He also stated that the so called Superstars of Malayalam are cheating their audiences with such films. He suggests that Superstars should wait for good roles to come on their way.

Sreenivasan stated that there is no such division in films called Art and Commercial. There are only two types of films, good and bad. He said, in foreign countries designated agencies varifies the script and approve it and then the producers accept it. After this process they decide the director and actors. This is the method to be adopted. Director of the film Makante Achan, V M Vinu too was present at the press meet.

While Makante Achan making good run at the box office, another Sreenivasan starrer film Katha, Samvidhaanam, Kunchacko is all set to reach the theatres by the mid way of this month. The film directed by Haridas Keshavan will feature Meena in the female lead. Most interseting thing to be noted is that this new Sreenivasan starrer will compete with Superstar Mohanlal's much awaited flick Red Chillies, directed by Shaji Kailas.

Sreenivasan have surpassed Superstar Mammootty with his first release of the year and now he have the other Superstar Mohanlal to compete with. Let's wait and see whether Sreenivasan may able to surpass the crowd pulling capability of Mohanlal also.
