Gautham Menon to do a Vijay film???

The latest hot news to hear from the Tamil film industry is that one of the most talented directors in Kollywood, Gautham Vasudev Menon is going to do a film with none other than our Illaya Thalapathy Vijay. Currently Gautham Menon is busy with his 2 Tamil films and Vijay is busy with his new film, Vettaikkaran.

It should be remembered that the spat between the duo when Gautham had earlier approached Vijay to do film with him is familiar with almost all the Tamil film lovers. Now as per some close sources related to the director, Gautham had made a secret visit to Vijay’s place and discussed a project with him.

It was for the film Kaakha Kaakha that Gautham had approached Vijay for the first time and Vijay was not fully convinced with the script that he gave the DVD's of his some hit films like Thirupachi and asked Gautham to rewrite the script. Gautham was not ready to do that so he went along with the project casting Surya instead of Vijay in it and the film went on to become one of the notable hits in the Tamil film history.

It should be noted that Gautham Menon is popular for his variety of films that he had so far and Vijay is popular for the same type of roles that he had potrayed throughout his career. The thing to be seen is whether Gautham and Vijay may able to work together, only time will give us an answer to this.

Sneha to does a bikini act

After the successfull south indian actresses like Nayan Thara, Anushka and Priyamani, Sneha, the actress known for her family girl looks is going to join in the league of bikini babes. Very recently, Sneha expressed her observation about the bikini act, saying she was not reluctant to do so if the story demanded and if it would work out commercially well for the producer.

Sneha, who generally carries a homely image had even refused acting in a liplock scene with Kamal Hassan in Vasool Raja MBBS. The question that is haunting the industry currently is now what forced the actress who has been in the industry for more than 10 years, to change her mind towards bikini?

At present she is facing stiff competition from her contemporaries in both Telugu and Tamil. Also she knows that she is in her final rounds of battle. So she wants to expose her beauty and grab more offers in both the regional languages, as her close aid says.

Thilakan once again as Mohanlal's father

Superstar Mohanlal, who is currently busy with the shooting for his Ramzan release, Angel John will start the shooting for his new untitled movie with Roshan Andrews by the end of next month. This new movie will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirwad Cinemas and scripted by James Albert (Classmates fame).

The major highlight regarding with this new untitled film is that it will feature two of the living legends in the Malayalam film industry together after a long gap of about 9 years. The greatest star in Malayalam, Mohanlal and the greatest character actor in Malayalam, Thilakan will join together for this movie after the film Narasimham in 2000.

As per the reports, this new film will feature Thilakan in father's role to the character played by our lalettan. It should be remembered both these talented actors have delivered so many awesome performances together in the past and the same is going to be expected from them for this time also. So let's wait for the film eagerly.

Puthiya Mugham started with a bang

3 biggies to fight in Mollywood

Malayalam film industry will see a strong fight among three films that got released in this weekend. Those films are director Rajasenan's debut movie as an actor, Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonu, Jayaram's Rahasya Police and Prithviraj's Puthiya Mukham. Since all the three actors are struggling to make their fate at the box office, it will be an interesting weekend in Mollywood.

Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonu, new Malayalam film from the veteran family director Rajasenan will feature him as a debutant hero. This film, which is considered to be a family drama is surely going to make an impact over the family audiences. This film also features the strong come back of yesteryear actress Sithara into Malayalam film industry.

Jayaram's new film, Rahasya Police is said to be an action thriller laced with comedy and the major highlight of the movie is that it will feature it's lead actor Jayaram in a double role. This film was directed by K Madhu and scripted by S N Swami. With this new film, Jayaram is all set to redefine his lost image as a family hero.

Upcoming Superstar of Malayalam film industry, Prithviraj is back with his new Malayalam film, Puthiya Mukham. This film, which is said to be an action flick will feature Prithviraj in a totally different get up, that of an action hero. This film also features Priyamani, Meera Nandan and Tamil actor Bala in the lead roles.

With all these films are now at the theatres, what needs to be seen is whether who will be finally blessed by Lady Luck.
