Vijay and Lingusamy to join for Ocher Studios

Latest news from Tamil film industry is that Soundharya Rajni Kant's Ocher Studios will produce Illaya thalapathy Vijay's 51st film. Soundharya, daughter of Superstar Rajni Kant, will produce this new film in relation with the Warner Bros India. Ocher Studios were in the news for quite a some time with their Superstar Rajni Kant starrer animated flick Sultan - The Warrior. This big budget animated film will hit the theatres by the middle fo this year.

Director Lingusamy, who is a well known director in Kollywood will direct this prestigious film for Ocher Studios. It is reported that Lingusamy has been paid a huge amount to direct the film. This new project will start only after Vijay completes his 50th film with director, 'Jayam' Raja. Vijay's 50th film will be produced by his father S A Chandrasekhar. It is heard that both Vijay and 'Jayam' Raja are planning to do an original movie, since both are considered to be good in remaking good films from other languages. Vijay is teaming up with 'Jayam' Raja for the first time. It is also hearing that Sun Pictures are trying to buy and release it on a first copy basis.

Meanwhile, Vijay will start his 49th film Vettaikkaran with AVM by this month itself. Also director Lingusamy is busy with his home production Paiyya that stars Karthi (Paruthiveeran fame) and Tamanna. Lingusamy will start the new project after finishing Paiyya. Ocher Studios too have to finish their new film Goa with director Venkat Prabhu. So the much expected movie of Ocher Studios with Vijay will start only after everyone gets free. So let's wait for that magnum opus to start very soon.
