'Don 2' to get delayed

Shah Rukh, the Baadshah of Bollywood is a busy actor in the Hindi film industry. He is now currently awaiting the release of his latest project Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Yash Raj films. It will hit the theatres on December 12. This movie will have SRK in a very very different get-up, and therefore the film is expected to become a huge hit. The film is also carrying good preview reports. Anushka Sharma, a debutant is the heroine of SRK in this movie.

Since the release of Don, it was hearing that there will be a sequel to Don as Don 2. But now it is hearing that the much awaited Don 2 will not happen, since all the artists who were related with the first part finds it difficult to make it for the sequel, due to their other committments. The lead actor SRK has to look after the promotions of his own production Billoo Barber, then he will do Karan Johar's My Name is Khan and then move over to his another production Happy New Year which Farah Khan will direct. He is also busy with his animation film Ra-One.

The case of lead lady Priyanka Chopra too is the same, though she is having more than one projects to complete. Even the director, Farhan Akhtar is busy with his own way. Now a days, Farhan prefers acting than to direction. Farhan is busy with Luck By Chance in which he is acting and also with his next directorial film Voice From The Sky.

With all the leading persons who were to make the sequel of Don is busy, the much anticipated Don 2 will not get into action atleast for the upcoming year or two for sure. But the project may not get dumbed since Shah Rukh is ready to act in the sequel with much interest. So the project will get delayed and the only thing to watch out for is how long does it get delayed?

'Ayan' gets completed

After the release of his latest film Vaaranam Aayiram, Surya is back with his busy acting schedules. He is now currently working for the film titled as Ayan. K V Anand is the director of this movie, where as the famous AVM productions are producing this high budget film. The upcoming actress, Tamanna is the heroine for this Surya starrer.

While talking to the media persons K V Anand, the director of the movie praised the lead actor Surya by saying that it has been a tremendous effort by Surya to fit the role. The actor has developed into a graceful actor since Nerukku Ner. Thanks to proper guidance by directors like Bala and Ameer, Surya became 'Super Surya'.

The director also admitted that it was his great luck to do a film with AVM banner. He also thanked his heroine Tamanna for her supportive works. The director didn't forget to praise his cinematographer Prabhu, who according to the director has captured what he envisaged in his script on to the screen.

The director concluded his meeting by saying that 'we did everything as planned accordingly'. This Surya starrer is expected to reach the theatres by the month of January in 2009 as a Ponkal release.

Priyamani to follow Nayan Thara

Priyamani is a National award won actress. She know very well that winning awards are not the right way to get into the Super stardom, but it is the way of doing glamourous roles. Ever since Priyamani received her National award for the Best Actress, she is desperately trying to shed the image of a serious actress in all languages.

Now a days, Priyamani is busy shooting in almost all languages in South. She had completed a movie Thirakatha in Malayalam, also a couple of movies in Tamil as well as Telugu. Currently, she is now at the sets of veteran Mani Ratnam's latest film Ravana. In this film, she is not the heroine but have an important role. Abhishek Bachchan, Aiswarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram are the leading casts in this film.

According to the Telugu film industry, it is heard that Priyamani is all set to rock the whole industry by doing a stunning bikini act in Nitin's latest film Drona. In Telugu, she had a family, girl-next-door image that she gained with films like Pellaina Kothalo and Yamadonga. Everyone inside the industry as well as outside get shocked when they heard this news.

It is also heard that at the starting Priyamani was not willing to appear in two piece bikini, so that the director of the film have to compell her for a long. He pointed out to Priyamani that Nayan Thara rose to the Super stardom through her famous bikini act in the Tamil film Billa. Hearing this, Priyamani agreed to do the act and it is also hearing that the shooting of the Priyamani's bikini act has already completed.

Reportedly, she has told her producer not to release the pictures to the media till the film releases. With this stunning act, Priyamani is all set to climb to the top of the industry, just like her predecessors Nayan Thara in Billa and Priyanka Chopra in Dostana.

Nagarjuna with 10 beauties

The 'Yuvasamraat' Nagarjuna is now onwards 'King' in the Telugu film industry. The expectation to his latest offering King by his fans and cine goers are merely high. This new film by Nagarjuna, King will feature Trisha and Mamta Mohandas as his heroines. The film was directed by Sreenu Vytla, and King was produced in the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies banner by Siva Prasad Reddy.

According to Tollywood, 'King' Nagarjuna will appear in 3 different get-ups posing a new style every time. It is also heard that a song have been shot with the 'King' dancing with 10 beuties from the industry. If we heard is true then the song will be a special attraction to the movie. The top 10 heroines that will dance with the 'King' Nagarjuna are Trisha, Mamtha Mohandas, Anushka, Charmi, Parvathi Melton, Sneha, Sneha Ullal, Priyamani, Kamna Jhatmalani and one more popular heroine.

Since this is the next film of Nagarjuna after the splendid hit Don No 1, the industry is in a great expectation about this new movie. The film was earlier planned to release on the second week of December but now it is heard that the release have been postponed to December 24. Whether it is Dec 24 or some other day, a Nagarjuna movie is always the 'King' at the box office. By that way, he can be called as the real 'King' of Telugu film industry.

Mohanlal in 'Pakal Nakshatrangal'

The main movie that reached the theatres after the splendid show by Twenty 20 is Pakal Nakshatrangal. This film is slated as a psycho - thriller, presented in one of the rarest attempted subjects in Mollywood. This film features Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Laxmi Gopalaswamy etc in the lead roles. The film was directed by Rajeevnath, who have earlier directed films like Aham, Janani and Moksham. The script of the film was penned by the upcoming actor Anoop Menon, who have also done an important role in the movie. This is for the first time Anoop is trying somewhat different in the film industry rather to acting.

The movie will revolve around the murder history of an accomplished writer-director Siddharthan, played by Mohanlal and how the mystery of his death was solved by his friends after a long span of 10 years. The movie is all about friendships without barriers and how that affects each others lives. Suresh Gopi is playing a pivitol role in the movie as ISRO scientist Vaidyanathan, one among the friends of Siddharthan.

Also in the cast are Arun, Murali, Manianpillai Raju, Samvrutha Sunil, Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalpana, Sukumari, Reena Basher, Murukan and K B Venu. The technical crew include Ramachandra Babu in Camera, K Sreenivas in editing and Saburam in art direction. The music of the movie is handled by famous Shahabaz Aman.

Eventhough AMMA's Twenty 20 is continuing with the biggest collections of all times, the makers of the film are in high expectations that this Mohanlal - Suresh Gopi starrer investigative thriller, may able to make a stand of itself. The film have got released in about 35 theatres all across Kerala.

Mohanlal's new avatar

Few days before, i have informed all of you that Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal and Jayaram are going to act together in a movie, which is to be directed by Classic director Blessey. If it happens then it will be the third film which will have Mohanlal and Jayaram acting together after Adwaitham and latest hit Twenty 20.

An important news relating the movie have been stated that Superstar Mohanlal will potray himself as a Jeep driver in this movie. Blessey, the director himself of the movie have declared this, also he stated that the role of Jayaram in this movie is not yet confirmed. Not only Jayaram but also any other cast other than Mohanlal is not confirmed for this movie.

While talking to the media persons, Blessey talks more about Mohanlal's character that he will play a Jeep driver who transports between high ranges, and the character will have its share of novelties and will be one of the rarest roles ever depicted by Lal. Blessey is planning to start the shot of the movie at any of the high ranges of the state, by the first week of February 2009.

Blessey, the Classic director by himself is in a severe condition since he wanted to prove everyone that he had much more potentials in him to create more hits. Last time when both these guys (Mohanlal and Blessey) joined, the film Thanmatra went on to become a superhit in all manners. The same is expected when both are to reunite again. Since Mohanlal is reigning high in his career, somewhat it may help Blessey to make it easier.

Dileep's current projects

After creating the much successful Twenty 20, with all the leading stars from Malayalam film industry, Dileep is now fully back into his acting career. He was not able to do his committed projects by proper time since he was the producer of AMMA's magnum opus Twenty 20. SInce the film Twenty 20 lags for a good span of time, Dileep was forced to remain with the film. Now a highly relieved Dileep is back in business with a bang, that is with a hand full of offers.

Among the offers, Dileep have already completed debutant Deepu Karunakaran's Crazy Rascals, which will hit the theatres by this Christmas season. Now Dileep is currently associating with two projects at a time. First one is a movie with veteran Fazil, which is tentatively titled as Moses.D.Samuel, having a new heroine. The other project having Dileep in the lead role is Colours, directing by Raj Babu.

Raj Babu, is the director who have earlier created Chess with Dileep himself and Kankaroo with the young hero Prithviraj. Shooting for the film Colours is occuring at the picturesque locations of Coonur near Ooty. Besides Dileep, the film also features Roma, Vinoo Mohan and Bhama in the lead roles. Innocent, Harisri Asokan, Cochin Haneefa, Sadiq, Mamukoya, Kochu Preman are the main other casts in this film.

The film which is considered as an out and out comedy movie laced with sentiments will be produced by Aroma, one of the oldest production houses in Malayalam. The shooting of the film will be completed in a single schedule in Ootty and surrounding areas. The film is being planned for release on January 26.

Bollywood to witness a grand clash

The month of December is going to be a memorable one in the history of Hindi cinema, since two much awaited films from two well established actors are set to rock the theatres in that month. Those films are SRK starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, slated for a release on Dec 12 and Aamir starrer Ghajani, slated for a release on Dec 25. Though both of these films are exactly not releasing on the same day, the small gap of just two weeks will witness a clash between these two films in order to make more profit than the other.

In Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Shah Rukh plays a common man named as Surinder Sahni, who looks very simple in his get ups, but later changes his looks in order to win his wifes love, who is very much younger than him. First, SRK was seen in stuffy woollen vests which he later changes into funky jackets and snazzy jeans. In the other hand, Aamir also plays two diametrically-opposite looks for his upcoming release Ghajani initially he is the long-tressed romantic and then for the avenging avtaar he goes mean and bald and all full of tattooes.

What effect Shahrukh's make-over in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Aamir's in Ghajani has on the box-office remains to be seen on December 12 as well as December 25 when the films gets released. So let's wait for the releasing dates of these much awaited films to know which one will go on to win the hearts of audience.
