Dhanush's new film Aadukalam

Superstar Rajni kant's son-in-law as well as upcoming Tamil Superstar Dhanush is on a happy mood now with his latest release Padikkathavan doing great work at the box office. The film is surely going to be numero uno among the films that got released for this Ponkal season in Kollywood. The film have clearly surpassed Illayathalapathy Vijay's Villu, that too is in the theatres carrying mixed reviews. Padikkathavan is surely Dhanush's Hat trick hit at the box office, after the hits like Polladhavan and Yaaredi Nee Mohini.

Dhanush have become one of the hot property at the box office, with having back to back hits to his name. Sun Pictures are clearly aiming to sort him out as well as his new image. After their recent release Padikkathavan, Sun group have acquired the yet to be started film of Dhanush and are also planning to involve in the marketing as well as the distribution of the film. This yet to be start film of Dhanush have been titled as Aadukalam. With this new film, Dhanush is joining once again with his lucky mentor Vetri Maaran (director of Polladhavan) and for the first time with the actress Trisha.

This new film, will be a riveting storyline based on a real life incident that happened decades ago in Madurai. Since Madurai plays such a pivotal role in the film that the director Vetri Maaran has started an office in the 'Temple City' to absorb the essence of the place to the fullest. Such a move is the first of its kind in the history of Tamil Cinema. Dhanush will be playing a Madurai youth and will appear in a never seen before appearance. His mastery over the Madurai dialect is mighty important for the film and the hard working actor is keen to get it right. Trisha will be playing an Anglo Indian girl who falls in love with Dhanush. Problems faced by this loving pair in terms of different caste will form the major part of the film.

After the hit film Polladhavan, expectations for this new film from Dhanush - Vetri Maaran team is riding high. Everyone is expecting this new film to be a different one, just like the director's previous film. Director Vetri Maaran has proved everyone with his directorial debut itself that his style of narration will be much powerful and will form the core of the film.
