'Red Chillies' postponed

Superstar Mohanlal is currently reigning high with his latest films, Madambi, Kurukshetra and Twenty 20 being declared as Block Busters in the box office. Though his latest release Pakal Nakshatrangal has not done well, it won't matter at all because that type of films are not expected to be a commercial hit. It was an art film by nature and Mohanlal's acting in that movie was well appreciated from all around.

The latest news regarding the actor that hits the floor is that Mohanlal will not have a Christmas release for the first time in five years. His Shaji Kailas directed Red Chillies, due on December 25 has been postponed to January end. As s reason, the producers are saying that the post production work of the film has been delayed.

But the industry is talking that the makers wanted to delay its release as Twenty 20 is doing amazing business, and during Christmas holidays it will collections will increase as more family and repeat audiences throng the theatre.

Anyway it will be really a sad thing to hear for all Mohanlal fans. Also it will be a huge blow to the Malayalam film industry since both of the Superstars in the industry have pulled out from the battle of Christmas. Earlier, the other Superstar of Mollywood, Mammootty too have declared that he will not have a release for this year's Christmas.
