Mohanlal back again as a singer

Superstar Mohanlal's upcoming movie is with one among the notable directors of current time Blessy. The film is titled as Bharamaram. This new film will feature Mohanlal as a lorry driver in the high ranges. This will be director Blessy's first attempt to make a thriller movie and this new movie will feature south indian actress Bhoomika Chawla as the heroine.

The shooting for the film is currently in progress and one of the major highlights of the movie will be that Mohanlal is singing a song in it. It was Blessy's previous Mohanlal starrer Thanmatra in which the Superstar have last sung a song. Among the other stars in Mollywood, Mohanlal is considered to be a better singer and have sung more number of songs than any of them.

The recording of that particular song was held last week at Cochin and it will be picturised as Mohanlal singing it to a child. This peppy melody written by Anil Panachooran and composed by Mohan Sithara will be a treat to the viewers of this film. The trak will also feature some flash back sequences of Lal's character.

Since the film is a thriller by nature, director Blessy is keeping the things tight that he is not even willing to publish the name of the character played by Mohanlal. So just wait until the film reaches your nearby theatres.

Gopi Chand to fight with Venketesh

Gopi Chand, is one of the notable star in Telugu film Industry. He was debuted as a hero through the movie, Tholi Valapu, but the film failed at the box office miserably. Then came his second film Jayam, which was a bumber hit in both Kollywood as well as Tollywood. Interestingly, Gopi Chand played the villian role in this movie and he was well applauded for that role.

Gopi Chand later did some other films also as the villian like Nijam and Varsham. Then like most other South Indian Superstars, Gopi Chand too changed his track and become a saleable star at the Telugu box office. Yagnam, was the film that made him a star there and the film became a blockbuster hit, smashing box office records of Tollywood.

Now it is hearing that Gopi Chand is now all set to do a villian role once again. According to the current reports, he will play the baddie in the very next film of director Sreenu Vytilla. Sreenu Vytilla is the director of recently released Nagarjuna starrer King. Interestingly, Victory Venketesh will be the hero of this yet to be titled movie.

With the arrival of this hot news, each and every Telugu film lovers are eagerly waiting for the film since it will feature Gopi Chand in opposite to Venketesh for the first ever. It will be a splendid thing to watch when the hit action hero, Gopi Chand comes face to face with the mass hero Venketesh.

Jayasurya in Casannova

Superstar of Malayalam film Industry, Mohanlal's new film Casannova is all set to start by the first week of April and will reach the theatres by the month of September. This new film from Mohanlal is said to be a big budget film produced by Confident Group, under the direction of Roshan Andrews. Latest news in addition with the project is that Young star Jayasurya is going to play a vital role in it.

Jayasurya is lucky himself to be part of most of the Superstar films that got released recently. Jayasurya played some minor roles in the films like Bus Conductor, Love In Singapore and Parunthu with Superstar Mammootty. This is for the first time that Jayasurya is going to act together with Superstar Mohanlal. It is heard that Jayasurya is going to play a role which is an able lieutenant to the character played by Mohanlal.

Earlier, Jayasurya was offered the role of Ajmal Ameer in Maadambi, but it didn't happened due to some unknown reasons. That will remain as Jayasurya's one of the great misses in his whole career and now he is not ready to loose this new oppurtunity to act with legendary actor Mohanlal. Meanwhile, Jayasurya's some lead role films like Doctor-Patient, Currency and Black & White Kudumbam are all set to release.

Idea-Mathrubhumi-Amritha awards announced

Mohanlal, Superstar of Malayalam film industry has bagged yet another prestigious award for his excellent acting skill. He has been showered with huge accloades for his performances in the films Akashagopuram, Pakal Nakshatrangal and Kurukshetra. This time he was offered the best actor award for the roles performed by him in these films. This time it is the famous Idea-Mathrubhumi-Amritha awards for the year 2008.

National award winner Priyamani bagged the best actress award and Thirakkatha bagged the award for the best film. Renjith was named as the best director and special jury awards are announced for Superstar Mammootty, Sreenivasan and Sukumari. Most popular film of the year was AMMA's multistarrer Twenty 20 and last year's 'Path Breaking Movie of the Year' award goes to the Tamil film Subramaniapuram.

Other award winners: Jayaram (Popular actor), Gopika (Popular actress), Vineeth Sreenivasan (Best debutant actor), Meera Nandan (Best debutant actress), Jayasurya (Best character actor), Roma (Best character actress), Baby Nayantara (Best child artist), Siddhique (Best villain), Babu Janardanan (Best script writer), Deb Jyothi Misra (Best music director), Rafeeq Ahmed (Lyrist), Vijay Yesudas (Male singer), Chitra (Female singer), Santhosh Thundiyil (Camera), Don Max (Editor), Gokul Das (Cinematography) and Srijith Guruvayur (Make-up).

Presented jointly by Mathrubhumi Daily and Amrita TV, two major players in the print and electronic media in Kerala, Idea-Mathrubhumi-Amrita Film Award night will also feature performances by artistes and troupes from Bollywood, Kollywood and Mollywood.

Dileep's Vishu release is Moses D Samuel

One of the popular actor in Mollywood, Dileep is back in track with his film, Crazy Gopalan that released on Christmas season becoming a smashing hit. The actor was certainly looking for a success since he doesnot have a single success for last one and a half year. Though the last film that he produced Twenty 20 becomes a bumber hit, the credit for the success was shared by every actors in the industry since it was a multi starrer.

The very next film that will feature Dileep as the hero will be Moses D samuel not Body Gaurd. Earlier it was heard that Dileep - Nayan Thara starrer Siddique's Body Gaurd will be Dileep's grand Vishu release, but now it's hearing that the film may not be able to make it to the theatres, due to the unavailaility of heroine Nayan Thara. Nayan Thara is now currently busy with her Tamil as well as Telugu commitments.

Upto now it was heard that Dileep may not have a Vishu release for this year but the problem is now sotred out. Dileep is now all set to release his Fazil film Moses D Samuel for this Vishu season. Since the producer of both the films is the same Johny Sagariga, it may not be a problem to interchange the releasing dates of these two Dileep starrer films. Fazil's Moses D Samuel is a romantic comedy with heavy sentiments, which will feature debutant Aswathy Ashok as the heroine.

Moses D Samuel was slated to release on Dileep's lucky day July 4, but now the film will make into the theatres by April 14, as a grand Vishu release. So Dileep's Body Gaurd will now only be released on July 4th. Meanwhile Moses D Samuel which is already 50 percent shoot over, will restart in a few days time and the entire film will be over by March 23, making it possible for it to release on Vishu day.

Now, Dileep is all set to recapture his lost position of a mass star with the list of his upcoming films. Though his last release Colors was a total wash out from the theatres, Dileep is confident with his upcoming films.

Naga Chaitanya's debut film in progress

Naga Chaitanya is the son of the King of Tollywood, Nagarjuna. This young and handsome son of Nagarjuna is all set to shake the whole Telugu film industry with his debut film that is under progress. The yet to be titled movie was launched during last September without any hungama.

This new film featuring Naga Chaitanya is said to be a commercial one with comedy, action and romance in equal aspects. Karthika, daughter of yesteryear heroine Radha is making her debut as a heroine with this film. Popular producer Dil Raju is producing the film on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Vasu Varma is directing the film. Sandeep Chowta is scoring the music for this film.

Major portion of the film has now been shot at the exotic locations of Bangalore and in some foreign countries. Shooting of the film is currently progressing at Hyderabad and the remaining portion will also be shooted in and around Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. The film is all set to release in June, 2009.
