Superstar Mohanlal's latest Vishu offering Saagar Alias Jackie - Reloaded has released throughout Kerala in about 102 theatres and has fetched a record initial collection, breaking the existing record of the film Twenty 20. Distributor's of the film Maxlab has taken a whopping distributors share of Rs 1.33 crore within four days but it is not going to happen for all the time since the word-of-mouth about the film is not that good.The film within it's first week has achieved several records and some among them are going to be mentioned below. First thing to be noted is about the initial collection fetched by the film, which is an all time record. Secondly, Saagar Alias Jackie - Reloaded is the first film to play the most number of shows in a single day in Malayalam ( 511 shows in the releasing day). Also this film is the first ever Malayalam movie to host about 1000 house full shows in the first 3 days after it's release.
The main problem lying with this Mohanlal starrer is that there is nothing new in the film. According to the trade analysts, Saagar Alias Jackie - Reloaded is an average grosser that will cover its cost (reported to be around Rs 4.5 crore) and they even doubts whether the film will be able to hold on. It all depends on how good the other big Easter-Vishu releases are going to perform. If any of those film clicks, it will become even more difficult for this film to hold on.
