Priyamani's cameo in Mani Ratnam's movie

Ace director Mani Ratnam's tri-lingual movie made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi will release worldwide in a short while. The Tamil as well as Telugu version of the movie will feature Vikram, Aiswarya Rai Bachchan, Prithviraj in the lead roles, while the Hindi version will feature Abhishek Bachchan on for Vikram and Vikram on for Prithviraj. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the heroine of the Hindi version too.

It is heard that National award won actress Priyamani is playing a short cameo in this film and it is also heard that her role is a crucial one in the movie. Currently the crew members of this big budgeted movie are at Jhansi shooting for some important scenes. According to some inmates of the movie, it is heard that the scene that featured Priyamani is like that she is to get married to a person of her brother Vikram's choice and on the day of the wedding, when the groom weds her, she is shot by a police officer played by Prithviraj.

The title for the Hindi version of the film is currently fixed as Ravana, while the title for Tamil as well as Telugu version is not yet decided, but it's hearing that most probably the title will be Asokavanam. Bollywood actor Govinda is heard to be a part of the movie. The shooting of the film's schedule at Jhansi will be completed in a week. Music department of the film will be handled by Golden Global award won Musician from India, A R Rahman, who is a regular one in Mani Ratnam's camp for last few years.

This big budget movie, that features almost all current big stars of Indian film industry is a hugely expected movie of the year 2009. Let's hope this film will surely live up to the expectations of the audience.
