Superstar Mammootty is currently busy with the shooting of his new film Pattanathil Bhootham. This new film is considered to be a fun movie, a total entertainer for the entire family especially the kids. Johny Antony is the director of the movie and Mammootty is acting in his film for the second time after the SuperHit Thurupugulan. The script of the movie was written by the most wanted script writers of Malayalam film industry, Sibi.K Thomas and Udaya Krishnan. This will be their next major release after the MegaBlockbuster Twenty 20.Kavya Madhavan is palying the lady lead in this film. This is for the first time that she is being casted as the heroine of Mammootty. With this film Kavya will take a short break to her film career since her marriage was held very recently. The major highlight of this movie will be that Mammootty is playing dual role in it, one as Jimmy the circus bike jumper and the other as a friendly ghost, who helps children in distress. It will be a nostalgic mood for Mammootty since his debut through K G George's Mela was by performing the role of a circus bike jumper.
This new film is produced by Benjamin under the High Bright Movie Creations banner and will be distributed by the producer and Devaki Films. Others in the cast line are Innocent, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Rajan.P Dev, Bheeman Reghu, Spadikkam George, Bindu Panikkar and Unda Pakru. Cinematography will be handled by Azhagappan whereas music will be handled by debutant Shaan Rahman, who is famous with his hit albums. This new film Pattanathil Bhootham is slated for a release on May 1st.
