Surya's new untitled movie

Tamil Superstar Surya is currently in a cloud nine with his latest release Vaaranam Aayiram becoming a hit. It was directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Though the film started up with mixed reviews, it later makes it big. The film worked well with the nice audiences, which was not a typical mass masala movie. The songs composed by Harris Jayaraaj in the film were chartbusters for several weeks.

After the successfull run by Vaaranam Aayiram, now it's the turn for Ayan, Surya's next movie. Ayan is directed by Anand and music department is by Harris Jayaraaj. The shooting for the film is completely over and is waiting for it's release. The film may get into the theatres by the second or third month of next year. Tamanna was the heroine in Ayan. It's an action packed romantic film.

Latest news regarding Surya is that his next film will be with none other than K S Ravikumar, who have made Dasavatharam. Nayan Thara is expected to play the female lead in this untitled movie. Mean while, director K S Ravikumar too have completed shooting of a movie titled as Jaggubhai, where Sarath Kumar and Shreya plays the leading roles. This is for the first time that Surya and Nayan Thara are joining together as a pair for a movie. In past they have acted together for the major hit Ghajani. The movie will go on to the floors on 20 January, 2009.
