Ayan : Review

Most Handsome hero of Tamil Cinema, Surya's latest film Ayan has released worldwide yesterday. This new film Ayan is considered to be a breezy, racy, fun ride filled with some essential commercial elements like sentiments and an item number. This new film was directed by K V Anand and it featured South Indian actress Tamanna for the first time opposite to Surya.

As per the initial reports, this new Surya starrer Ayan has opened to rave reviews and almost all the trade analysts are predicting that Ayan will be this year's first Superhit in Tamil film industry. The first half of this film is fast and furious, and makes you want more but post interval the proceedings slow down a bit, which is the major let down. This film works mainly due to the director's fresh and innovative handling of a wafer thin story.

Almost all the stars in this film have performed very well, but it's Surya and Jagan (Surya's friend), who have simply stolen the show. Tamanna and Prabhu very amazing. Franz Spilhaus the action co-ordinator deserves standing accloades for his mind blowing stunt choreography. Harris Jayaraj’s music is peppy and the background score is awesome. M.S Prabhu’s camera, Antony’s editing and Rajeevan’s set design were all upto the mark.

Once again, the producer's of this new film Ayan, AVM and the distributor's Sun Pictures have proven that they are the best in business when it comes with the marketing and making of new generation Tamil films. All in all, Ayan is a perfect summer entertainer.
