Last day, Gautham speaks about this, he says, he was upset by the way his friend and music director Harris Jayaraj made public his decision to part ways with him and it is for Harris to state the real reasons for the break-up. He also added that when they have last met each other for the recording of background score of Vaaranam Aayiram, Harris did not tell him anything.
Gautham admits that when it comes to music, Harris is a real genius, but the main problem related with Harris is that he will try to dominate. When they were working on Khaaka Khaaka, Harris said that he would not be musically inspired by Surya and that this film would not work. But it worked. Similarly, Harris said Vettayadu Vilayadu would not work. It worked. The only time he was right was when he said Pachaikili Muthucharam would not work and it did not.
Gautham says, the problem might have started with Harris when he decided to go on with his next project Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam, with Trisha in the lead role. According to the director, Harris was opposing the move of Gautham to do that film from the very start itself. About the project, Harris asked Gautham to stop thinking small, and just start thinking big, which the director doesn't like at all.
Now, after the split of these two legends both have moved on from their, with both having number of projects in their kit. Gautham have decided to go on with his Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam, with the music of none other than A.R.Rahman. Let's wait and see whether these two legends will join together yet again to rock the audience or not. Also it is to be watched whether the team of Gautham and Rahman can overpower the team of Gautham and Harris.
