Prabhu Deva, one of the well known name in the Tamil industry is making his come back as a hero in a new film that is to be directed by Thangar Bachchan. The choreographer turned actor turned director is currently directing a movie having 'Illaya thalapathi' Vijay in the lead role. The movie is titled as 'Villu' and is having Nayan Thara as the lady lead. He is planning to release the movie by January, next year.
This new movie having Prabhu Deva in the lead will be produced by Ayngaran Internationals. Sneha, will play the female lead. Prabhu Deva, has created many hits by acting in various films. 'Kathalan', 'Kathala Kathala', 'Minsara Kanavu' etc are some among his hit films. He has started his career as a choreographer, and later he turned into acting. His first film as an actor is Shanker directed 'Gentleman' and there after he acted in more than about 20 films. He then turned into the field of direction with the film 'Pokkiri' starring Vijay, which went on to become a mega hit. His second film is the remake of 'Pokkiri' in hindi starring Salman Khan, which is yet to get released. Now he is busy with his third directorial venture, Villu.
'Villu', having Vijay and Nayan Thara in the main role has been under production for some time. The film is nearing it's completion. Almost all major portions of the film were shoot at Banghok.
Let's hope, the team of Prabhu Deva and Vijay shall be able to repeat the success that they have tasted in their previous venture 'Pokkiri'.
