It is almost clear by now that now onwards Asin, south indian beuty who conquered Bollywood too will be the most costliest actress in the south indian cinema. It is heard that Asin has been roped in to play the lead opposite Vijay for a high sum of 2 crores. Nayantara has earlier been paid a sum of 1 crore, for the Karthik ( Paruthiveeran fame ) starrer, directed by Lingusamy.
The shooting of this new film 'Vettaikaran' will start only by next year because before that Vijay has to complete his latest offering with director Prabhu Deva 'Villu', and also Asin has to complete her latest film in Bollywood 'London Dreams' directed by Vipul Shah. This new film will be produced by Balasubramaniam under the banner AVM.
Speaking to the media, Asin said,” I am all excited about sharing screen space once again with Vijay. The producers phoned me to discuss as I am now in London for the shooting of the Hindi movie ‘London Dreams’. I am planning to mull over the script once I reach Mumbai. As I am already committed in a Hindi project that starts February, I will be acting in this movie if my schedule permits.”
Asin, has earlier shared screen space with Vijay in the blockbuster hits, ‘Sivakasi’ and ‘Pokiri’. The actor expressed his desire to cast Asin once again, that he considers as his lucky mascot. The makers of Vettaikaran managed to make it happen, even though it’s a big contract.
Asin is currently in a cloud nine, by having a lot of offers in her hand to work with famous actors and directors. She is now currently in London with the shooting of 'London Dreams' and she will have a bright future ahead since she is being considered as the lucky mascot by the popular star Vijay as well as by ace actor Kamal Haasan.
